The Sports Commissioner’s Office (SCO) is a body established under the Sports Development Act, 1997. SCO came into operation on 1 January 1998.     

The main activity of SCO is to register sports bodies as well as provide information regarding those registered bodies.     

As a regulatory authority, SCO is entrusted to ensure compliance with practices of good governance as stated in the constitution of the sports bodies, through a comprehensive monitoring activities to achieve positive developments for sports in the country.       

Consistent with the desire of the government to improve the delivery system, this website provides information on its roles and functions and at the same time welcomes ideas and views to enhance its services.
