1.   I intend to register a sports body with the Sports Commissioner Office (SCO). How do I go about it?

 

Steps that need to be taken:

a)  Obtain the application form (Form 1) from Sports Commissioner Office (SCO) or download from our website at: http://pps.kbs.gov.my

 

b)  Identify the type of sports that you intend to register and ensure that it is in accordance with the list of sports stated in the First Schedule of SDA 1997.

 

c)  Identify the level of the sports body that you intend to represent (e.g. National, State, District, or Club).

d)  Form a pro-tem committee and convene a meeting to establish the said sports body. Among the agenda that need to be discussed and agreed are as follows:

i.  On the formation and collective decision among members on the appointment of the Pro-tem Committee;

ii. Collective decision among members on the establishment of the sports body, registered name and address.

             

iii.Adoption of  the constitution of the sports body;

  e)    Submit the complete application form (Form 1) together with the  following documents:

            

i.    Postal / Money Order of RM50.00

 

ii.   2 copies of the Minute of Meeting

             

iii.  2 copies of the Approved Constitution

 

iv.  2 copies of the List of Office bearers of the Pro-tem committee  

 

v.  2 copies of the Logo  (if any)

 

vi. Supporting Letter from the governing body of   the said sport
